COVID's Arrow is LIVE!

Despite a few speed bumps, COVID's Arrow is now available on six platforms: Amazon, Nook, Vivlio, Angus & Robertson, Apple Books and Kobo. More will be added to the list of retailers as the month progresses.
For me, publishing an Indie book has been a huge learning experience. My previous works were handled by eXtasy Books, and they handled the proofing, cover art, and so much more. This time around, it was all on me, and boy, as hard as it was, I had a lot of fun doing it.
Designing the cover wasn't that hard, once I found the right photo for it at my favorite (paid) stock photo site, one that had full licensing for authors to use as covers or part of their covers. I think the most frustrating thing for that part was getting the colors and fonts just so, and that didn't take long. I had the cover done in less than half an hour.
I think the most time consuming (and frustrating) part of the process on my end was the actual getting it on the site and formatting the ebooks. I had a ton of fancy-schmancy fonts in the acknowledgements areas, and BAM, they were removed in the conversion. Oh well. The silver lining is that I added a bit of flair to the book, making it even prettier with a watermark, etc.
It was up on Apple Books within a few hours, same with Nook. It took another day or so for it to hit the others, minus Amazon, but it went live there earlier today.
I'm pleased with it. I'm not sure on sales yet but I haven't check the site I used to publish it yet. Hopefully I'll get a few sales here and there.
SUPER SECRET PROJECT!
(ARE YOU READY FOR IT?)
That's correct, I have something else in the works. Something huge. I hope to be able to share it in a few days. Keep watching this blog, my WordPress blog, Facebook and Twitter for details! You're going to love it! I'm so excited that I'm bouncing around like a ping pong ball. I can't wait to tell you... But if you're in my group, V.J.'s VIP Lounge, you'll already know what's happening.
Squee!
Schools go back in session on Monday, January 11th, so I hope to be back to writing on and off after that... In between other projects. 😜
I leave you with Are You Ready by my favorite band, DISTURBED!
