It’s official:
Honestly
has had its edits with Jon completed, and Jay sent me the galley for it last
night. It is now off to Bri, who will proof it, and she and I will go over it
once or twice more before it’s finally sent off to be converted into an ebook,
and soon afterwards, a print on demand paperback.
It has its own ISBN Number, and things are starting to
gear up for its publication.
We are now looking at an August 19th, 2022
publication date, but that may be subject to change. It depends on how fast the
books ahead of it are going and when they get published too.
I also got the cover for it last night. Poor Martine
had a rough time getting it done because Photoshop was being evil and kept
crashing on her. Thankfully she managed to get it done and sent it to me
yesterday.
No, I’m not sharing it today. I have it scheduled to
be shared on Friday, June 24th in my reader’s group, V.J.’s VIP
Lounge. I’ll share it publicly after that, in several groups, then it’ll show
up on my blogs and other spots around the internet.
Although summer vacation started on June 18th (son doesn’t have exams this year, he’s exempt), I’m hoping to get Feathered Tartan 4 finished and Feathered Tartan 5 started before school reopens in September. Both stories feature Joshua Campbell, cousin to Ewan and Dana, and his journey to happy ever after. I drop a lot of "Easter Eggs" in Honestly, so read it carefully when you get a copy of it.
I’m also hoping to do a sixth book in this series but
that’s not happening until well after the “duology” within this series is done.
I hope to get another Tri-Town story done, and I’ve been tinkering with another
paranormal idea.
But that’s the future. This is now.
I’ll share the cover for Honestly on here after it’s been shared in other spots. Watch for
it!
I leave you with my favorite band of all time,
Disturbed, and “A Reason to Fight”.
Have a great week everyone!
