Theory: Lack of Education, Literacy and Comprehension, Combined with Narcissism, Tied to Bigotry, Racism, Xenophobia, Misogyny and So Much More?

 AUTHOR NOTE:

I know there are people out there who will laugh at what I am about to say, and that’s fine. It’s not my fault they have a lack of education, can’t understand a lot of complexities in this world, and don’t want to admit it for fear of embarrassing themselves in front of others. Nor do they want to learn, because if they do, they will lose that superiority complex and have to admit they were wrong all along, which is something that a narcissist will never do. It’s always someone else at fault, never them. (Which is something I will discuss at a later date).

If you don’t understand something, it’s not a fault and that’s perfectly fine. No one knows everything and we humans never stop learning, not till the second we leave this plain of existence and move on to the next. If you don’t know something about a subject, either look it up or ask for help. It shows you’re willing to learn and respect those who know more than you do. (I am always curious so I tend to be one of those who fall down a rabbit hole while researching stuff!)

However, it is not okay to be mean to others and scream “You’re wrong!” just because you can’t comprehend something and have a massive ego you need to stroke. That is a sign of a superiority complex, which seems to be prevalent amongst those with low intelligence combined with narcissism and lack of education.

Please keep in mind these are my thoughts and my theories. Whether you agree with them or not is up to you.

I hope what I say here makes a few people think about things, and see the connection that I do… If I manage to get one person out there thinking about my crazy theory, my job is done.

The more I think about how low intelligence, low reading levels and low comprehension levels, the more things make sense. Or they do to me at least.

A lot of the areas with lower education levels and more have the highest rates of bigotry, xenophobia, racism, misogyny, etc.... While the areas with higher levels of education (some of the best schools in the nation) tend to have lower levels of the exact same things, and tend to be more open and welcoming.

Hence why a good chunk of the bigots in Canada seem to be in Alberta, which has had education cuts, book banning, and so much more thanks to that c*nt on wheels, Danielle Smith... Who is almost identical in her mindset to Pierre Poilievre, our Federal Conservative leader. Both of them hate anyone who isn’t white, cis, straight, English speaking and Fundie “Christian” (aka Fake Christian). Thanks to their bigotry, xenophobia, misogyny, racism, etc., the cancer of hate has spread across Canada, mostly in the interior of our beloved and beautiful nation.

It also explains why places with high levels of education and some of the best schools in the nation are the most tolerant of the provinces. Vancouver, British Columbia, and out here on the east coast are more inclined to be the most welcoming to anyone of any minority (with the exception of our First Nations/Native Canadians but that’s another story for another time). The Atlantic Provinces (New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland-Labrador, and Nova Scotia) are the most accepting of the LGBT+ community in particular, same with Vancouver.

Now mind you, not all with low education and/or low intelligence are bigots. Some are some of the most accepting, loving and kind people around no matter if they understand something or not. They trust the people with doctorates, or anyone else who knows things like genetics and other things they don't and can’t seem to comprehend.

It's the ones with the superiority complexes and narcissism that have problems with being unable to understand things like how genetics, vaccines, etc. work, so they get snippy when someone reminds them that they can't understand something and that means it's a blow to their overinflated ego... Which sets them off and gets them scoffing/snarking more about said subject. They can't understand it, and don't want to admit it, so they say it's “wrong” no matter how much evidence you provide... And they refuse to try reading it, let alone comprehending it, or even asking for help so they can understand it all.

So that could be why a lot of the less educated and not so intelligent people are assholes.

I know, some highly intelligent people are awful too, but that probably comes from a life experience that they didn't like, or are embarrassing for them, which is not okay either.

I know people who dated LGBT+ closeted people in the day, and are embarrassed about it, so they scream bigotry - despite having a high intelligence, high comprehension and took the exact same courses I took in school. They hide it in a way that looks legit, but if you scratch the surface, there's a reason behind it...
Like religion. Anyone who knows the Bible's history knows that Leviticus 18:22 that some of them quote is a translation of a translation of a translation (and so on!), and that someone along the line misinterpreted "man shall not lie with boy as he does with woman" as same sex relations instead of pedophilia like it was meant in the original text (which is why so many priests in the Catholic church can scream their abuse isn't "against the bible" if you think about it). Source:
Queer Bible Hermeneutics

It's cherry picking at its finest. They will toss this at you to justify their hate, while ignoring things like Leviticus 19:18 (King James Version) for example: “You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.”, or something like Jesus’ own words: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (King James Version) (Source: Bible Hub)

A lot of these people who constantly quote the Bible as their source for their bigotry are in the closet too, yet think it's "against their beliefs" due to Leviticus 18:22, so any reminder of their "not Biblical desires" triggers them and sends them into defensive mode. This will make them spew hate and laugh at anyone in the LGBT+ community, all to protect themselves from other bigots out there, and to hide their own shame of not being what a pastor, friends, family, or even society, says they should be.

Also, some people are just rotten to the core. Others argue for the sake of arguing and trying to trigger others so they have some amusement in their pitiful, boring lives.

All you can do is just laugh, shake your head and walk away from those who are looking to stir the shit pot and just want to be vile overall for amusement’s sake. I’ve decided I’m just going to drop a few “cheer up” memes and walk away from those ones, and the ones who refuse to learn or understand a damn thing other than their own hate, shame, and everything else.

Honestly, I find this complex of bigotry fascinating, after what I’ve seen regarding United States literacy and comprehension levels, notably tied to those who spew hate and in turn, how much higher it is in those who are more accepting and kind.

I’d love to hear other people's thoughts on this. Feel free to drop your opinion in the comments.

*Comment moderation is turned ON so if anyone is being nasty/bullying, or saying bigoted things, they will not show up. I refuse to allow that bullshit to mar my blog. Please be patient because I have ADHD and autism, and I keep forgetting to approve comments. OOPS?*

Today I leave you with one of my favorite songs of all time, by a fellow LGBT+ community member and a fellow chronic pain warrior, Lady Gaga. We’re all “Born This Way”, the way we are, and that means we’re perfect no matter what anyone says.

Have a great weekend!
