April Showers Are Bringing Blossoming Romances...

Good Morning everyone! I'm not hosting anyone today, for once. I'm trying to keep my weekends open for updates on what's happening in my world, and once in a while, host a fellow eXtasy Books or Devine Destinies author.

Writing...

I'm still plugging away at the greatly anticipated sequel to Stricken, aka "Stricken Book 2". I wrapped up Chapter 6 this week with a few huge events, and an awkward moment for the leads. Things are really starting to get tense, with the thought of the antagonist finding out a secret, and the sexual tension humming between the leads. It needs work, but the rough draft is coming along nicely.

Blog Tours

May is almost booked solid for hosting blog tours... Three of them are books done by our own Denise Wheatley, and I'm also hosting one for Maggie Blackbird - all done by Silver Dagger Tours. Some days, I'll be hosting two or three tours! Everyone, the authors I host are wonderful people, and so talented... Please check out at least one of their books! You may find a new favorite author!

(And if you want to do a blog tour, talk to Maia at Silver Dagger Tours, she's amazing!)

Upcoming Guest Spot!

I am doing another guest appearance on Denise Wheatley's blog - she wants me to put the spotlight on Stricken. I will be on her blog on FRIDAY MAY 2, 2019. There will be an excerpt, and the usual chatter about a book. I'm also including something, which has Denise excited and me shaking in my black and purple sneakers...

I will be revealing the Series Title that starts off with Stricken, as well as the name of Book 2, and its tagline on Denise's blog.

This is a *huge* step for me. Book 2 is still in its first draft. Normally I keep my mouth shut about a book's title, storyline, characters and everything else until it's ready to be sent off, or it's about to be published.

You have to be open to sharing your work - no matter how rough it is - with others in order to get everyone interested, and to keep yourself motivated to finish it and get it out there.

I hope I will be able to announce that Book 2 will be available sometime in the next year or so. It all hinges on how things go with my writing time - the amount I get, and if I can train myself to write with Hubby home. I want this done so I can get it sent off to my crit group, and do anything it needs so I can send it to eXtasy Books.

As Viktor Campbell said in Stricken, "Life isn't worth living without the risk."

How true!

Have a great weekend everyone... I am hosting seven people on my blog next week, so it's going to be a wild one... Don't forget to check out Denise's blog on MAY 2 for the big reveals!

I leave you with "Hey God" by Bon Jovi.
