My name is Del Winterbottom, I'm a 26 year old omni genre writer from the UK. I'm a self published author, I've been writing for ten years now. My first book was The Silent Sheriff, a horror/thriller novella about three people who wake up in a desert and must survive this hunter known as a 'Sheriff'. Then they have to survive all the nasties that comes after. I've written an epic fantasy trilogy, which I am so proud of - that's called The Rulers Above - and it's brilliant, it's a big story, so far totaling 300000 words, but it is such a powerful love story, dram, action packed, epic story! I've written a short story called 'Take Me' about a man who wakes up in his own life review and is being followed by a harrowing presence while he is travelling through his life. And I've written a couple of poems up to now. I've got a children's book I'm writing at the moment, and then I've got a few epics to write, which should keep me very busy! The Rulers Above - an epic fantasy about a young woman from London who goes to a hidden magical angelic world in the sky and helps them in their greatest challenges with politics, terrorism, war, and the forces of evil. This fantasy is action-packed, with many stunning scenes, many characters, angelic mythical creatures, and essentially it is a huge creative story about a war between good and evil. While there is one main protagonist and many side protagonists, there are many main villains, as well as side villains. Currently I've written the first three books at 300000 words, and I've still got 400000/500000 words left to write as part of two more books - the last two books will be back to back, a sort of 'part 1, part 2. This is my best story so far, my masterpiece, it's 'The Lord Of The Rings' with angels/'Harry Potter' with angels. The young woman from London, Marriet Sworn, her life is about to be changed forever, her body is about to be transformed, and she about to become half human, half angel, and she is to become one of the greatest heroes in angelic history!

The Silent Sheriff is a horror novella - it was the first book I ever wrote and I originally intended it to be a 7 book series! Now I'm not too sure, there's a lot of interesting content I haven't forgotten, but the seed has been planted, and I intend to write more on this story in the future - as of now it is a warm introduction to a world of terror that concludes, in my opinion, quite beautifully. The story starts with three people in a desert with no idea how they got there, and they are about to encounter many terrors!

Take Me is about a man who wakes up in a train station and every train he gets on starts taking him through parts of his past in quite a bizarre way! As the Protagonist keeps taking these trains through his life, he soon realises that a mysterious, ominous force is following him - it soon becomes clear what is going on, and the truth is unsettling indeed!

I'm currently writing my sixth book - it's called Fable King, and it is about a boy called Billy Mern who lives in England and has the special ability to speak to animals - on his eighteenth birthday, Billy Mern gets a knock his door and is greeted by a rabbit who tells Billy he is a Fable King. Billy Mern must go on a journey to the mythical island called Memoril, where he will find dragons, dinosaurs, pheonixes - every creature there is and has ever existed! And Billy must go on a journey to gather seven special eggs containing his special followers - one containing a pheonix, one a snake, one a dragon, one a kraken, one a wolf, one a dinosaur, and one a spider. And on Billy's journey, with the help of his seven Fable companions, he must stop the evil Deathendus, a magic breathing half dragon, half serpent beast from bringing about extinction to all creatures great and small! Fable King isn't finished yet, but I think I'll have it finished either this year or the next, so keep a look out! After I've finished Fable King, I have a sci fi in mind, and then it's a choice of either a very Dark Fantasy called 'Mor', which will be about the return of an evil god in the fantasy world of Lankar - or The Rulers Above IV, which will focus on the Esidens of Holyace - and introduce the main villain of the whole story - and he is the worst and the most powerful of all the villains that Marriet has faced so far!
